Account and service data
We use Supabase Authentication for email/password signup, sign-in, confirmation and password recovery. Supabase processes your account email, user ID, authentication credentials and service/security information such as network requests and timestamps. Login tokens use secure device storage. Your password is not saved in your fitness diary. We use these records to operate your account and protect the service.
Your private fitness diary
Your profile, measurements, goals, diet and allergy preferences, food and water logs, meal plans, workouts, weight history and coach history are kept in encrypted, account-separated storage on your device. Core records do not automatically upload. Anyone using your unlocked device may be able to see the app while you are signed in. You can review or change your details in the app and export your local records where supported.
Optional features and older records
New cloud backup uploads, community sharing, Health Connect, paid subscriptions, online Claude coaching and meal-photo analysis are disabled in this free beta. No trial countdown or automatic charge begins. Existing cloud backups may be restored or deleted explicitly; they use account access controls and are not end-to-end encrypted. Community material shared in an earlier prototype can remain on the server until removed or until account deletion. Private logs are never automatically posted publicly.
Voice food entry is optional and begins only after a disclosure, consent and a tap on Speak. Your device’s speech recognition provider may process audio online under its own terms. KrackFit does not save audio recordings. Review the transcript and food estimates before logging. Meal, water and workout reminders are local and optional, with category, schedule and quiet-hour controls. You can revoke microphone and notification permission in Android settings.
Providers and international processing
Supabase provides account/database/storage infrastructure. The configured project region is Frankfurt, Germany; this does not mean all support, security or subprocessor processing is limited to Germany. Supabase’s Data Processing Addendum describes its processing and international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. The phone’s selected speech provider processes optional voice input under its own privacy terms; the provider can differ by device. KrackFit has no active advertising or third-party analytics SDK in this beta. We do not sell your fitness records or use them for advertising.
Purposes and legal bases
We use account information to provide the account and services you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Necessary security processing protects accounts and the service against misuse, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f). Optional voice input and device permissions are based on your choice and consent where applicable (Article 6(1)(a)); you can decline or revoke them. Your fitness diary is processed locally for the tracking you choose and is not automatically sent to us. New online fitness-record uploads are disabled in this version. Any later optional online health-data processing will require an appropriate explanation and explicit consent where required. Existing prototype backups can be downloaded or deleted at your request. Fitness guidance does not make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
Retention and deletion
Local diary records remain until you delete them, remove the account’s local data or remove the app’s data. Exported files and records on other devices must be deleted separately. Your online account and any previously saved associated records are retained while the account exists and removed from active service records after verified account deletion. We do not automatically erase an account merely because you stop using the app. Infrastructure logs rotate under the configured Supabase plan’s retention schedule; see Supabase’s logging information or contact us for the current period. Technical backups may persist until the provider’s normal backup rotation. We do not keep a separate permanent advertising or analytics archive. If a specific legal obligation or security investigation requires limited retention, we explain the applicable reason and period when responding to your request. We do not promise immediate removal from infrastructure backups outside the actual provider schedule.
In the app, open You → Settings → Delete account. If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app, visit Delete your KrackFit account or email us. We verify ownership before removing the account and associated cloud backups, community profile, posts, comments, likes, follows and uploaded media. Automatic deletion rechecks your password through Authentication; do not send a password by email. If an online deletion attempt fails, some uploaded media may already have been removed. Contact support to complete an interrupted request.
Delete local fitness data removes records on this device and keeps the online account. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription purchased in an earlier or future version; manage subscriptions through Google Play. This free beta starts no subscriptions.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to applicable processing and withdraw consent where it is the basis, subject to applicable conditions. Contact the address above. You can also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Withdrawing a permission does not undo processing that already occurred. We may need reasonable ownership verification without asking for your password.
Adults and general fitness
KrackFit is intended for adults aged 18 and older. It supports general fitness and nutrition tracking and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions. Food values and starting targets are estimates. Consult a qualified health professional for individual medical or nutrition advice.
